Healthy Leg Day, Thursday, February 24th

Varicose veins are enlarged bulging veins with purple or blue colouring that are commonly found on the backs of calves or on the inside of the leg. They usually cause aching or swelling in the legs and are unsightly to look at. In serious cases, varicose veins can lead to complications such as dermatitis, skin ulcers and blood clotting.
Women are more likely to have varicose veins than men. Some other factors that cause varicose veins are pregnancy, obesity, long periods of standing, menopause, and aging.
Join us for our Healthy Leg Day on Thursday, February 24th from 10am until 1pm. You'll get to sit down with a vein specialist to assess your condition and answer any question you may have about keeping your legs healthy. This clinic is FREE! Hurry up and register. Spaces are limited.
